Long Distance Camp
Date: March 24th-31st. Price: £749. All levels welcome with some biking experience (contact us if unsure)
7 nights half board accommodation in a 4* sports hotel.
High quality food catering for all dietary requirements.
Experienced coaches and a high coach to athlete ratio.

Training averages/day: up to 7/8 hours across all activities (All sessions are not compulsory).

Whether you’re toying with the idea of entering your first full distance event or have completed this long distance course several times, our Full Distance camp is designed for all experiences and will get you up to speed in both the endurance and techniques required to take on the challenge of a full distance event. Under the guidance of world class coaches you will cover everything from open water swimming, focusing on endurance training, pool swim analysis concentrating on technique, to running the route of the Ironman Mallorca route situated on our very own doorstep. We will also address jelly legs and transition techniques through our brick sessions.
A focus on long rides with varying routes to take in the mountains and flat lands, with designated speed and strength sessions
Coached open water swims with options to swim up to the full or half race distance
Supported long runs to simulate race intensity and pacing, along with brick sessions to work on ‘jelly legs’ with advice on how to run off the bike
Specific strength work session to assist long riding/running ability
Advice and practise on the practical side of race strategies, fuelling and hydration
- Evening seminars on topics such as training load, preparing for racing, nutrition, pacing and scheduling exercise

The training on this week is about distance on the bike with long rides on four of the days, an easy optional spin on the recovery day and a interval session on the last day. The long rides cover varies terrains and although we are in a group there are lots of sections where we put mini sessions into the rides for eveyone to work on their own pacing. We offer 2 long runs through the week and run options off all the bike rides. Swimming includes technique and endurance sessions, hitting the pool or sea at least 4 times during the week.
THE HOTEL – FOUR STAR ****
The hotel is located 2 minutes walk away from the local beach and sand dunes and on the run route for the Majorca middle and long distance triathlons. The camp accommodation includes high standard en suite half board rooms in our beautiful 4 star hotel. All rooms are apartment rooms which include a twin bedroom with separate living/dining room and kitchenette. Most rooms face out on to the main pool area or across the nature reserve. The hotel includes a 25 metre outdoor heated swimming pool, an indoor gym and full spa facilities with hot and cold therapy baths. Food at the hotel is a buffet style breakfast and evening meal with a large selection and choice to suit everyone’s needs. Inside and outside eating areas are available as well as an adult only dining area.

To secure your place a non-refundable deposit of £250 per person is required (final payment due 10 weeks prior to arrival date)
Price based on two sharing a twin apartment style room – we will endeavour to pair you up if required
Single occupancy is an additional £40 per night
- Non athlete accompanying an athlete will receive a £100 reduction on the cost of a 7 night stay
Price based on half board accommodation (evening drinks not included)
Three sharing a room options are available on request

Lots and lots of miles, lots of laughs, lots of fun, lots of good food, lots learnt and lots to still work on but lots gained. I enjoyed mixing with the group at meal times and thought you handled the mix of abilities very well. The long brick session was the highlight for me.
