Camp Description:

This week is all about cycling!  We cover swims and runs but these sessions are built around the riding we do.  The rides are designed to get some early season miles into the legs and ready for longer distances races or to build strength and endurance.   As we all know Mallorca is a cycling mecca and at this time of year we are likely to come across the pro teams riding around the lanes we use…if its good enough fro them!!! With smooth roads which are relatively vehicle free at this time of year its perfect timing for us to show you around! With our expert coaches assisting you with on every ride and taking you to new locations while offering support and advice.   We have different paces and groups to ensure all levels are catered for.  This camp is cycle based but but has options for run and swim sessions along with gym and spa access to complete a perfect training week. (25 metre heated swimming pool onsite)

 

WEEK HIGHLIGHTS

  • Learn the best ways to pedal, climb mountains, descend safely and effectively as well as enjoying all the varying terrains and sites that the cycling routes of Majorca have to offer
  • Ride some of the famous mountains and to different parts of the island not normally touched by the average cycle groups!
  • A series of informal talks that will complement the training schedule, covering a wide range of subjects to cater for all abilities.
  • A chance to ask the coaches questions both formally and informally – we are here to help you improve.

THE HOTEL – FOUR STAR ****
The hotel is located 2 minutes walk away from the local beach and sand dunes and on the run route for the Majorca middle and long distance triathlons.  The camp accommodation includes high standard en suite half board rooms in our beautiful 4 star hotel.  All rooms are apartment rooms which include a twin bedroom with separate living/dining room and kitchenette. Most rooms face out on to the main pool area or across the nature reserve.  The hotel includes a 25 metre outdoor heated swimming pool, an indoor gym and full spa facilities with hot and cold therapy baths.  Food at the hotel is a buffet style breakfast and evening meal with a large selection and choice to suit everyone’s needs.  Inside and outside eating areas are available as well as an adult only dining area.

ADDITIONAL INFO

  • Flexible payment options are available on request

  • To secure your place a non-refundable deposit of £250 per person is required (final payment due 10 weeks prior to arrival date)

  • Price based on two sharing a twin apartment style room – we will endeavour to pair you up if required 

  • Single occupancy is an additional £40 per night

  • Non athlete accompanying an athlete will receive a £100 reduction on the cost of a 7 night stay
  • Price based on half board accommodation (evening drinks not included)

  • Three sharing a room options are available on request

  • Flights, transfer and bike hire are not included (contact us or visit our FAQ page for help with these)

The variety of routes you took us on was unbelievable and as an unfit cyclist I was very worried I would not be good enough and have to ride on my own.  It was great how you handled the different speeds and split us up into groups but offered options each day – I did not feel under pressure then as new I could switch groups if need be.  We both enjoyed it and as we were at different levels when arriving still got to ride with each other but get out what we both wanted.  Great coaching, advise and support.  I will be practising the cornering skills you showed us and hope to be putting them into practise when I pick a race – now very motivated to do so after such a good week.  Thanks to all the coaches – you work hard and it shows in how you deliver the schedule.  I will be back fitter and faster I hope...More Reviews Here…
