6/5 week! I really enjoyed the good spirit and training tips. Training was enough challenging and I was super motivated to train in advanced company. Rides were organized safely for 1st time group riders too. Super coaches! Hotel Viva was perfect base for triathlon-training!

Absolutely brilliant week with Challenge Tri Camp! They looked after everyone with great care, no matter what your fitness level or ability. All the coaches encouraged and supported you and made sure you got to the top of all the hills and back down again. Great set-up at the hotel too. I had thought this was probably a one-off holiday but I will definitely be going back. It’s also given me a kick start to get back to cycling. Cracking week in a beautiful part of the world with lovely people - couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Wonderful week! I'm a slow (and often nervous) cyclist but the coaches were all unstintingly understanding, encouraging & supportive. Like Stuart this was my first ride of 100+ km & the coaches were with us all the way. Really friendly, well set up and positive. Will definitely be coming back! :-)

What a week I had with the help of the fanatic coaches during the week. I have now managed to swim 1K first time ever along with my first ever mountain ride starting going by going up Coll de Femenia then on up to Lluc, Two days later I can now say that I have rode over 100km and have been around a velodrome. At the end of the week I did my first Triathlon (non competitive) all be it a small one. They have also been understanding and very helpful with my anxiety issues that holds me back from doing things like this. With out the support for these guys and girls I would not have done any of these.

I went to Challenge Tri Camp earlier in the year, it was my first time so I was nervous. The coaches were so supportive especially Simon who encouraged me up the climbs on the bike. I’ve always been nervous on the bike but with the great support & encouragement I exceeded my expectations, came home a much more confident cyclist, even now when I am doing a climb I think back to Tri camp and what I achieved there and that keeps me going. I met a great bunch of people who I am still in touch with & we are all meeting up soon. You learn so much in a week and make lots of new friends! It first rate, give it a try yourself!

Went on my first ever TRI camp and it didn’t disappoint. Coach staff are all great, facilities are perfect for a week of training and development. Will definitely be back next year!

Spent a fantastic week with the Challenge Tri Camp team. Coaching staff are all great and the facilities and hotel were perfect. I'd never been on anything like this before, I was a bit nervous as whether it was going to be for me, but it was brilliant. The people we met on the camp were lovely and we've all stayed in touch keeping track of everyones own achievements in events over the year. The best compliment I can give is that we have already booked for next year and we're bring another two friends with us. My withdrawal symptoms were clearly great as I continued my coaching with Nick, with a brilliant training programme devised for me over the summer. I'm certainly not a high level athlete (far from it!!), but the improvements in my own personal performance was amazing. Cannot wait for next year.

I have done 2 Tri Camp so far, all the way from Canada!! and absolutely loved it!! The coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have learned so much even though I have been doing triathlon for 5 years. The camp is very well planned to fit everybody’s needs and expectations. The bike rides are so amazing and Mallorca is the best!! The Open Water Swim is perfect and you can even enjoy some brick sessions and hill repeats in the most beautiful surroundings:)). I recommand this camp 100%:)

I find the Challenge Tri-Camp Camp team really inspiring. Even as somebody who came late into Triathlon, Nick and Brent have really inspired me to go further and faster with their great support and coaching, all delivered in a really friendly manner. So far I have been with Challenge Tri-Camp twice and have another booked for 2018 already.

Without question one of the best things I have ever done! New to swimming and never ridden a road bike, I was apprehensive about pretty much everything but the coaches put me at ease straight away. Nick, Brent and Helen are all amazing, professional and so knowledgeable. The support and encouragement is exceptional; I still can’t believe that I swam in the sea and cycled up and back down a mountain! The fabulous accommodation, delicious food and great fellow athletes made the experience even better. I returned home more determined to continue with triathlon and get better at it. I have already booked my return to camp.

I had the most fantastic week on Tri Camp and fully recommend it to anyone considering a week away training in the sunshine. The coaches are fantastic, as are the location and accommodation. The Tri Camp team manage to strike a great balance between serious training and relaxing/fun so the overall experience is amazing and you feel you have achieved a lot whilst having a holiday at the same time. I learnt so much both from the coaches and the other guest triathletes. The cycling in Mallorca is incredible, the sea is right on the doorstep, and I met people I've since become great friends with - so absolutely 10 out of 10!

SWIM VIDEO SERIES – COMMON ERRORS

Swim Training Session Notes:
Please have a go at the training sessions here, you can adjust the distances if need be but try to follow the structure of the session.  
A typical training week should always include a technique focused session, some kind of speed work and an endurance/strength set.    
We have not included any warm ups, prep sets or cool downs so please do your own or ask us for some examples.
For recovery times for these examples unless stated take whatever time you need, normally around 15-30 seconds is ideal.

50m hard with focus on strong push back
50m pull buoy easy focus on arm reach
100m hard effort (record time)
